Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe, Uganda Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you'll be warmly greeted by your experienced safari guide. Your adventure begins with a comfortable transfer to your accommodation in either Entebbe or Kampala. Take some time to rest and acclimate to the new time zone or, if you arrive early, consider visiting local attractions such as the Entebbe Botanical Gardens or the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre. These offer opportunities to observe various wildlife and beautiful tropical plants. Enjoy a peaceful evening in anticipation of your upcoming safari.
Day 2: Murchison Falls National Park After a hearty breakfast, your journey to Murchison Falls National Park begins. This vast and diverse park is known for its abundant wildlife, including lions, elephants, giraffes, and more. En route to the park, you'll have the unique opportunity to visit the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, a critical conservation effort aimed at protecting and increasing the rhino population in Uganda. Here, you can embark on a thrilling rhino tracking adventure on foot, guided by experienced rangers. It's a remarkable and up-close experience with these magnificent creatures.
Following the visit to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, continue your drive to Murchison Falls National Park. Upon arrival, you'll check in to your chosen lodge or camp within the park, where you can unwind and prepare for your safari adventure.
Day 3: Murchison Falls Safari Your day starts early with a morning game drive in Murchison Falls National Park. This is the ideal time to spot a variety of wildlife, as animals are most active during the cooler morning hours. Keep an eye out for elephants, lions, buffalos, giraffes, antelope species, and an array of birdlife.
